New to Guilford Co. - Needed place to hunt
 

Hello every one. I am new to the area, recently moved here from GA. I don't know many people and I can't find any advertisements for hunting clubs or something like that. I am extremely depressed about this because I am an avid hunter and I don't have anywhere to go and its hunting season. I live in Summerfield. If any ideas and suggestions, pleases let me know.

Go to the North Carolina Sportsman website and they might have a listing of hunting clubs in there.
I myself hunt Guilford county but I cant think of somewhere for you right off hand.
If nothing else you could hunt Caswell gamelands.Try ncdeer.com I think there is a couple ads in the classifieds for clubs looking for hunters

IVY, unfortunitely there is no game land in Guilford (I live in Greensboro by the way) Co. Unless you own land or know someone who owns land, hunting opportunities are limited in Guilford Co. I don't know of any hunts here in Guilford Co., eventhough I am sure there are some. There are a few places about an hour drive away that offer some good hunting. What is your schedule like next week, 18-22 NOV 02? I've got a day or two pass coming up, I could show you around some of these areas. Drop me an e-mail, if you this sounds good to you, at [email protected] Some of the places are Camp Butner National Guard Training Center and game lands, Uwharrie National Forrest game lands, and Caswell game lands. I don't know a whole lot about Caswell though. You can get a state game lands map book from Wal-mart or anywhere else that sales hunting license.

All right "newby" IVY. welcome to the boards.
I'm coming to Chatham Co. tonight. Been waitng on the rain to stop. Its about 1 hr. 15mins. from Summerfield my Grandparents live there.
I have several places there to go. Some of its mine and some friends.
All total about 1000 acres give or take 5-10 acres here and there.
