More Hunt club members needed (N/Central VA)
 

Hey everbody,

Rick64 and I and a guy from another board put together a small club together for this year and now have a chance to get some more land adjacent to it. In order to do so we'll need to get about 3-4 more guys at about $400 a head.

This is farm lots and pasture with beans and corn mixed in. No small game til deer season is over. A bowhunters paridise for the pre rut and rut. Madison Co. 6 stands up with more to come. Also have DCAP tags available.

Brad lives in your area, it takes him about 2 hours. I live in Bristow, a fancy name for Gainesville. It takes me just over an hour to this area in Madison County. It's just south of Culpepper off rt 3 heading towards Orange. If your interested, please contact Brad, ASAP.

There are deer onand around this property. I've hunted there twice, saw4 doe the first evening, not before they got wind of me first. Hunted another morning with nothing seen, but spooked a bunch of them on the way into the stand. We did see a big boy with his bitches on the first dayRick64, Brad and Ivisited the property.

I'll be hunting Friday and Saturday. I plan to go back down on Sunday to set up a new ladder stand, somewhere in the vicinity of Brads climber.

Brad or Rick, if either of you have another suggestion of where to set up the stand, please let me know. If either of you care to come down on Sunday, we can replace or adjust some of theother stands on the other side of the road. Rick, have you had any luck there as of yet? I saw your truck Saturday. I waited for a little while to see if you were coming out that morning. Sorry I missed you.

I don't know where you are, but you can't be far from here.
I'm about 2miles sout of the beltway, a mile off the GW parkway.
It takes me about 2 hrs to get there. It's 90 miles from my driveway.

I'll be going down Saturday to show it to another guy. If your interested, let me know and you can ride with me if you wish.

I didn't make it out there this morning, raining pretty hard at 4am. I will beheading there this afternoon and for sureSaturday morning and maybe for an evening hunt.

For everyone I haven't told the story to:

David hunted with me last year. One afternoon, he and his son-in-law got down to hunt. Evidently the dog hunters had been running that day and ran across The Aforementioned A-holes land. Well he came over on his atv and threaten Dave and his SIL. Now we don't now nor have we ever ran dogs. But this guy can't be talked to and dont want to hear it. He was convinced that it was Our dogs on his land.

Personaly I would have beat the S#!+ out of him, but Dave being a better man than me, and being of Law background took the high road and let proper law enforcement handle it.

Bottom line He was arrested and charged with Assault and ended up with fines and probation


We haven't heard or seen from him since
