Bama hunting this year?
 

Well guys how do you think the huntings going to be this year? Cooler weather is starting to come in so thats a plus. Its gotta get good sometime after having two really bad past seasons where the deer just werent moving.

have been getting some nice pics, with the weather cooling off, things should be good, a few more days and time to kick back in the old climber and enjoy the geat outdoors, good luck guys, keep in touch.

so how has the season played out for you so far? I killed a little 3 point first day of the hunting season by mistake, but my uncle got a nice 9 point with about a 22" spread. weighed around 285 lbs. was a beast.

I've thinned the doe population out by 3 so far. I saw a nice 9 point opening morning. Low 120's class.I've seen3 other small basket and one cow horn.This past sat was the 1st day I've been to the woods and not put one in the cooler. I saw some does but couldn't get them in close enough. One was a trophy doe that I've been hunting for a couple of years now. She has my number. I think I have her routine down now though. I'm going pheasant hunt in KS this weekend but the following weekend she better watch out.

We are getting a lot of pictures of a lot of different bucks, but the majority of them are nocturnal. On one 75 acre honey hole I have we had almost 200 pictures in two days with at least 19 different bucks.

Wow, way to go, passed up a doe the other day. She was 12 yards away, now i wished i would have tagged her. But how about this weather, man i have a feeling this is gunna be a heck of a season for alabama.

Yes it will be! The deer are alreadymoving and it's alot colder than last year...I don't bow hunt..so I'm counting down the days until gun season.
