Primos The Can
 

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

I'm just wondering if anyone else may have had success with the Primos Hunting Calls " The Can" easy Estrus Bleat model 711.

My first time using it was last year, in which I've had Three (3) kills thus far. With the coming gun season I can only hope I'm still sucessful with its usage and thoughts about the Can?

VaSavage I have never used the can, but I use a true talker and can say that doe bleats work great, BTW in case you don't read the other thread I was born on the 20th also, in 53, you?

I use it sometimes and can't really tell a difference. I'm with Tazman on the True Talker

Have you ever used a grunt call?
If not you need to check out some of the past topics. Some good information on using them is available. Be careful you can spook'um easy.

The last 2 bucks I took, a 6 and a 7 point, was without using a thing, but my instincts and a little prep work, off season tracking.
Some say its the only way to go.
Most of the time I just use a little Red Fox Pee at the base of the tree I'm using for my climber, and on a drag rag.

I know one thing buying it will do! make will primos rich! and i like primos i think he is a realistic guy on tv. i love his shows but i don't always believe calls are the way to go. gimmics make other people rich.

You know i used to be a gimmic man. got a fanny pack full of grunt calls and hot doe calls.
i have never had a deer come to one. i got some video of a nice 8 pt i grunted ,he looked and went back to eating .
the only deer i have ever called to me i used my mouth. i just made grunt s and blew at him and the sucker came within 30 yards of me. oh yeah i shook bushes and racked leaves also.
i just wait them out now. i might break them things out this weekend and try again.
