WELL SPENT MOST THE WEEKEND IN THE STAND AND DID NOT RELEASE AN ARROW. DID ANYONE SCORE ON A NICE BUCK OR TURKEY SEND IN A PIC.

I shot a nice long-beard with my bow Saturday morning. He was one of 3 that seemed fairly responsive to just a little light calling at about 7 am. This fall hunting is sort of new to me and am not quite sure how much if any I should call. Apparently a little was just right. My First bird with a bow, though I have tried for a few years. I was pretty pumped. As far as deer hunting went I was dissappointed. I only saw one doe, and that was on my way in at 4:15 saturday morning. I think all the dove hunting in my neck of the woods had everything holed up. Anyhow, that's my report for the opener. Hope everybody else is having a great fall.
