TN is getting better and better to hunt each yr. w/increasing turkey and deer populations. What do you guy's think?? That's at least what TWRA says, what do you guy's see in your part of the state?

i hunt in north EAST tennessee and the deer seem to get a lil bigger, but we are just not cut out to grow the monsters that they can in Kentucky. They actually got us beat on something. I dont know what we can do to make it better

with our Deer laws in place and the herd getting a chance to grow. we already have 140 and 150 class deer being taken year after year. I have about 800 acres in Maury County. Look under Deer forum and look for the Tn deer getting bigger post.

Got my biggest buck to date last yr. in East Tn. during bow season. He dressed @168.lbs. As far as i'm concerned Tn. is getting better but I think alot has to do w/genetics and QDM where you hunt

Hey guys, just wanted to chime in on the middle TN hunting.
I live in North Alabama near Athens, have several hunting properties in limestone, morgan and colbert counties. Also hunt madison, jackson and lawrence couties around Bankhead National Forest.

Just got involved with two leases in Pulaski and Lewisburg, TN.
Most of the hunting leases are small membership and do allow guest.

If anyone is interested in FULL TIME hunting..... shot me an email.

Talk to you soon!
