SOUTH CAROLINA BEARS
 
HOW MANY PEOPLE HERE ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN HUNTING ANYWHERE NEAR THE CANE CREEK AREA OF PICKENS COUNTY? I AM TRYING TO FIND A GOOD SPOT UP IN THERE TO HUNT. ANY HELP WOULD REALLY BE OBLIGIED

If I were you and lived in Sumter and wanted to bear hunt, I'd check out the coast of North Carolina. I've bear hunted Pickens County S C for 5 years and have see live bears in the woods on 1 occasion. They are hard to get (I'm told ther are increasing??)
The coast of NC has some great bear hunting..

the coast of nc has a lot of bears but i like the mountians of nc i dont think that it is very far from where you are to the nc mountians around asheville there is some pretty good bear hunting within a hours drive and some a lot closer check out the nc gamelands or pm me and i will give you some starting points good luck
