ORIGINAL: ducsauce

I will be working at Micron Industries as a instrumentation technician. My hours are going to be 7am-4pm. I would really like an apartment or house b/c I will have my dog and I don't want another slobby roommate like in my current situation. Anything else I should know about the area.
Thanks, Duc
Duc - just PM'd you!

RE: Moving to Manassas, VA area

I would find a room in someone's house, if I could, like a furnished small apartment in their basement, with the privacy. I live in Alexandria and have for years, and that's what I did when I first moved here.

The hunting here is pretty good, especially for deer, turkey, rabbits and ducks in some places. I will either move to the VA Eastern Shore or Washington State next year, if i can get a job, though. Think I've had my fill of the DC area, having worked as a network engineer at the Pentagon for half that time! Drop me a line if you need any info.
