Hunting North Texas

My question is has anyone had any luck hunting near the Texas\oklahoma boarder? I am going on a whitetail hunt in montague county in mid november and am wondering if any trophy bucks have been harvested out of that area.Thanks.

you'll be in the big deer area, shouldn't have any problem finding some 140 class stuff up that way. They are a lot heavyer too!
GOOD LUCK!

Hurry up and wait.

I don't live too far from there, but I've never deerhunted up that way. There was a big non-typical taken near the Tx-Okla border last year or the year before, but I think that was from a WMA by Lake Texoma.

These are from the TP&W website. I hope they are of help to you. Good luck with your hunt.
