RE: CWD in VA Question
CWD stand for "chronic wasting disease"right?...If so, I know that they are asking those who shoot a deer to cut off the heads, pack it on ice and call the biologist. As far as I know, its voluntary....I haven't heard much more though.

RE: CWD in VA Question
No published reports that I have seen about CWD in VA. There are going to be a lot of rumors about this stuff. If you have questions you can contact your local game and fish office or call the Quality Deer Management Association. They have good up to date information about CWD.

RE: CWD in VA Question
I checked a deer in on Tuesday and nothing was said about that. Myself or none of my other friends that deer hunt have heard that.

RE: CWD in VA Question
I checked a deer yesterday and nothing was said at all, I doubt very seriously if it is in Va. yet, Va. does not allow deer to be brought in from another state so the possibilites of it getting here any time soon is low.
