RUT IN KENTUCKY
 
HA GUYS,

IVE HUNTED SEVERAL YEARS AND THIS YEAR I MISSED THE RUT ALL TOGETHER. IVE ALLWAYS SAID FROM NOV 1 TILL NOV 13 IS PRIME TIME BUT NOT THIS YEAR I HUNT NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN KY. ANYONE ELSE FIND THIS YEAR DIFFERENT.........??????

honestly it didn't even seem like there was a rut this year. the only stuff i heard about deer chasing was one case and the buck was just following. i was up the weekend before thanksgiving and there was no buck movement at all. i saw one spike and he was just hanging out with a group of does.

Just saw a bunch of yearlings chasing big groups of does. Had several 4s and 6s I could have killed in Oct chasing but got lucky on a big 10 during gun season scent checking along a dam. Rut was really slow this year though.
