Another Okie here. I live in Kansas now, but still an Okie at heart. I do all my hunting in the northwest part of the state in Woods county.

Oklahoman loud and proud. Sooner, im in Norman to. Hunt quite a bit on the river and out by thunderbird public land(right next to). Lots of BIG deer on the river. Actually, some of where the bigger deer are is where Stoops is buildin his house. lol. Ive driven by it and seen a couple deer out in front every now and then. You bowhunt? If you get a chance come up to Oklahoma Archery, thats where i work. Be nice to meet ya.

Thanks Sooner_Hunter. It's a good thing they don't put footnotes in the record book because we all know that Nebraska is having a down year. This is the second time in my life this has happend and I don't think I will live long enough it see it happen again. Looks like the bedlam battle should be a good one.

I own some land near Wapanucka which is about 17 miles west of Atoka. I've seen a lot of doe but no buck yet.

The harder I work, the luckier I get!

Live in OKC, hunt in nw oklahoma. this last weekend really sucked.
It was raining and windy. Had a buddy come from missouri but
we decided to go to the ou-iowa state game saturday because of the weather instead of hunting. had a good time at the game, but
would have rather been hunting. I did get to hunt thursday and friday and noticed the deer really changed patterns this week. Did
anyone else have this happen this week?
