To be more specific the season for rifle is: Nov.19 thru Jan. 7. No Sunday hunting allowed. Either sex days as listed above. Bag limit is 2 per day, six per license year, three of which must be antlerless.

so does that mean you can only kill a buck the other days and the only days yuo can killa buck or a doe is nov 26, dec 3, jan 2-7... do you have to send for doe tags... how many deer can you kill per licences. like in pa you get a buck tag thats it then you have to send out for doe tags per county.

You can only kill a buck or doe on the above days, and on other days only a buck. You get all of your tags at one time for the listed cost of the out-of-state license. Read above, six per license year is the limit.

a related question - what are the legal methods of taking deer during the rifle season on Louisa county? as i read the regs you may not use a rifle larger than 22 except for groudhogs. you may use a shot gun but no slugs so i guess that limits you to buckshot. you may also use any muzzleloading rifle during firearms season. is this correc???
