AR White River NWF .......... ????????????
 

Can anyone give me anything on this place ? 160,000 acres of NWR, and I might be going down there for a few days in a couple of weeks. Can a guy hunt good places without a boat ? Hogs ? Camping ? Can anyone tell me where to go to find the tougher to get to area (less people) ?? I'll be bowhunting too.

Can anyone help a bit ??

You can hunt good places without a boat, but a boat will get you away form the people. never camped thier but after a time or two you will find some good places to hunt.

I have only been on the White River NWA a couple of times. You can find some pretty wild and untamed areas there if you give yourself a couple of days. I hunted south of Dumas, walk in area but had chest waders and found some sweet spots, that was years ago and I doubt if I could find them again. There are hogs in places, I never saw any there but plenty of sign.
