RE: Oklahoma hunters

I hunt northeast Oklahoma right up by the Oklahoma Kansas border. Lots of nice deer hanging out around the bean fields up there in Ottawa County. I live at Bird Island on Grand Lake and there are plenty of deer here to look at but you can't shoot any of them. It was hard to get used to when I moved here. You could be within 20 feet of them and they won't even bat an eye at you.

Hello All,

New to the forum, looks like some serious hunters here !!
If anyone knows where some good hunting land is around central Oklahoma, I'm interested. I used to hunt on family land in Nowata, but I lost that option.

Thanks

Carl
