I hate squirrels!
I woke up with Two of em in my room at my camp house make a long story short i ran around after em for 20 min, got them down the stairs and out the front door. Later after my turkey hunt I watched em go in the roof through a vent. It was like a real hunt I sat there for an hour waitin on them to come out. When they did I was waitin on them, 4 came out and I got them all. Sure were alot of trouble they had ate through the screen and some blue stuff on the other side in the vent. I boarded it up and I hope they haven't found a new way in.

Same here I hate those TREE RATS also. I shot two today in the wifes Garden

Ditto, DearSlayer357! They are great eating. I just wish I could legally harvest the ones hanging around here near my house and making trouble instead of having to go for a 50 minute road trip to get out to where hunting is permitted. Four gallons of gas just to go shoot squirrel! Imagine the energy savings if we could work out a way to bring legit small game hunting (or trapping?) back to where people actually live. There must be some way to make it safe by now? special "city zone" bows, air rifles, projectiles? Or maybe just traps? Or....become a falconer? Any ideas anyone?

Thats why I love having a wooded backyard, just shoot em whenever I feel like it. I have feeders set up so I can lure them in.

I live in a pretty populated with two small (like 20ft x 20ft) patches of woods. I just go out there with a slingshot and some marbles (deadly combination). So far I've only killed a chipmunk and a rabbit (head shot from 3 feet) w/that wrist rocket though.
Have to be careful about the neighbors though.:D |

What about when your deer hunting and they are either barking at you in your tree stand or getting you anxious when you hear one run through the woods thinking it is a deer. Ive wanted to plink a few with a 7mm before.

never have any real problems with them here, i have felt like blowing one apart with the .270 during deer season. our problem here is rabbits. they get into the garden, and everything else they can get their friggin mouths on. thats why the double 12 is usually handy.
