Brown Bear .223 rem 62 grain hollow point??

Has anyone ever used this stuff for varmints?? is the hollow point designed for expansion or is it more for accuracy like hollow point match ammo??

I have used Hornady 52 grain match boat tail hollow points, and they seem to do fine. I think most hollow points are designed for accuracy, but they will take varmints. My guns likes smaller bullets, probably because of the barrel twist.

I tried the 62 grain and 64 grain and found my accuracy suffered, my gun likes 55 grain best. Mine has a 1 in 12 twist and Ive been told that twist will not stabilize a bullet over 55 grains and its shows as I have key holed at 75 yards with the heavier bullets. Jimmy

My rifle has a 1 in 9 twist and found 55 to 64 grainers do the best

try pushing them a little faster and see if that will stabilize them...
