COYOTE FUR TAINTING

Most of the coyotes i have snared and skinned have been tainted[:'(]. The hide on the belly seems to turn quite green on most of my coyotes[:'(], even if they are frozen solid and caught in -30 celsius . The amount of green on the belly depends on the position that they curl up in and freeze, and where the stomach contents lay. I am wondering if the fur graders will downgrade the hides because of this tainting? ;)

cheers, Sako7mm

RE: COYOTE FUR TAINTING

You shouldn't have that problem if you run your traps every 24 hours and skin the animal with a few hours of getting it. And count on a decent deduction because that taint will make that hair out.
