.25-35 for Coyotes

Has anyone ever used a .25-35 for coyotes? It's a Winchester Lever gun and would like to know effective range, etc.

While it is not a long range rifle, it should work out to 100 yards. I had one years ago and shot deer with it. Never shot a yote with it though. Pretty good old gun.

According to Winchester's ammo web site, if your rifle is zeroed at 100 yards, the bullet will be 3.1" low at 150 yards and 9.2" low at 200 yards. Sounds like 150 yards is about the maximum for this round. Hope this helps :D
