Kinds of Bait

What kinds of bait do you guys use? Wondering about canned dog or cat food.

Can't beat Hawbaker or Milligan baits. Don't use pet food as this will increase non-targeted catch. I have a very long story about catching a dog 20 years ago. Trapping bait is better because it has call lure in it.

I think dog food works great. I just tried it a few days ago and got a gray fox in my trap Monday morning. I used mighty dog and dumped that in a jar with some tuna juice out of a can, shook it up and let it sit out in the sun for awhile.
