Help with Coyot huntin?
Hey Everyone!
i have only been yote huntin once before, a few years ago, and my dad says he might take me again sometime...
We have a rabbit distress call that worked very well last time, and some no scent we use. Just wondering if someone could tell me what gun might be best to use or any other yote huntin tips...
They will be much appretiated!

any caliber from .22 mag and up would work on em. Preferably a .223, .22-250, .222 or other "varmint" round. You could even use a shot gun if your shots will be under 50 yrds..
good luck!

RE: Help with Coyot huntin?
night hawk--I will get back to u on what guns I have later tonight, I'm at school now and I need to ask my dad what guns he has...I only have a shotgun but he'd probably let me use his .22 and he has another rifle but i can't remember what it is...it has a scope, and he told me but I can't find it in my mind now...sorry ill post back again, but either way he'll probably be using his own rifle with the scope.
PapaD--When we went yote hunting, we used the tape recorded rabbit squeel...we knew there were coyots in the area, because they were eating our chickens, thats why we went after them anyways, but I suppose it would depend on if there were yotes close in the area or not...and if their hungry i suppose ^.^
thanks!
