? on coyote pelt prices

A buddy of mine told me a little bit ago that he heard that we could get 86.00 per coyote we brung in. Said we didn't have to skin them or anything. Does this sound right and how can I find out how much these are worth. I'm in Missouri and this Army base that I am stationed is just covered with coyote so it shouldn't be to hard to get some. Got a .17 HMR so that should be good enough gun, ( can't use a centerfire rifle on the base) Anyways if it is the case I'll be out trying to supplement the income that Uncle Sam pays me

I doubt it, but I'd ask your buddy to prove it first.

I haven't gotten over $20 for one yet this winter, in the round. Now if ya skin them, wash them, stretch and sew them, you might get $50. But the coyote fur market is not looking good this winter, so $86 in the round, I highly doubt it.
