I went out tonight and finally got my first coyote! Two came in at once about 30 seconds after i turned on my electric call. I shot the one at about 30 yards and i didnt have time to take the other one. But hey,,,,i got my first coyote. When i was just getting ready to leave i happened to look up and see another one about 150 yards away. He was starting to leave so i took a shot at him and missed. thanks for all the info you all have given me.

thats great man ive been hunting them for a while but no success yet. how did u call them what time of day and what calls were u in the woods or a field? thanks

welchhunter-i used my electic caller with the JS Grown Cottontail Distress tape. This was at about 545 pm. They came about 30 secs. after i started calling. So be ready right away. And i was on a big field that is kind of in the shape of a "y". thansk guys.

i shot him with my .222. I dont think i will be able to do anything with this one because i had to shoot him twice and one hole was pretty big. Maybe ill mount one later on.
