useing just a reed.
 

Have any of you guys ever took the reed out of an enclosed call and just used that??? i took mine out of my JS rabbit in distress and i think i sound better with the reed out that in the call its self. Would this work or should i just put it back in?>

Seems to me it would be harder to use out of the barrel (call) Also I would probly lose it.

I have taken a duck call apart and used it like an open reed call.
