I seen in the courier-tribune there was a animal that fit that description it turned out to be a gray fox.
Get a pic if you can.

bambi- if you didn't send me the email i am very sorry. when i was checking my email i had a post sent to me insulting my hunting eithics. and the very first line to it said then there were about 2 more pages telling me about how bad of a hunter i was...... so that is why i thought it was you. because of that first line in the email then i come here and the first post i look at i see it agian. and then it got me even madder because i didn't even reply to this topic. sorry

when i went to see who sent me this email it told me that it would be sent to the ultimate hunting web page. so i didn't reply. today i had another letter. i just simply replied to the ultimate hunting web page and i hope someone here gets it and can figure out who it is.

once again i can't say how sorry i am if it wasn't you. i hope you can at least see why i thought it was you though.

I would suggest Traping it alive... So if it is a new animal the state wildlife department can study it.. Some pics would help... A game cam and some bait.... A box trap would work good for trapping it.. Maybe you should call the game warden and talk to him to see if he has any idea.. The people are there for a reason call them...

Without seeing these animals I would say they are a family of gray fox. Gray foxes often look like cats from certian angles and their color is a redish/brown with gray. The best way to find out what you have running around is to get a trail camera out there as soon as possible. That will solve your problem in no time..
