We haven't gotten the 2004-2005 season schedule yet, but last year it was from Sep. 6 to Jan. 31.

They just increased our season here in Maryland. Believe it starts 1 Sept and runs through the end of Jan, but it could be Feb.

The California ground squirrel(spermophilus beecheyi) is not considered a game animal. Therefore you can blast them all year long.
He said what state but he didn't say what state he was in lol. Its true about the ground squirrel out here though. I'll have to find out about red and grey squirrels though.

in my area in ontario its sept 25-dec 15 i think....

thats only for greys and blacks tho...we arent allowed to hunt reds...well most of us arent ;)....those noisy lil bastards....

in PA it's oct. 16-Nov. 27, dec. 13-23, dec 27-Feb. 5 (6 daily)

In Canada its 24/7 if you want but it can get mighty cold during the winter so it makes a lot less fun, besides, there is no real point to shooting squirrles.
