Illegal harvests have penalties of fines and jailtime, even could lose all hunting equipment. Poaching is poaching even if an accident. :(

We have a bobcat season in colorado. We just have to get a fur permit. I know a person that shot an animal with a collar the DOW just went to his house and got it.
