yea, they are some real nice pelts. the buckshot did very little damage actually. i hit mine with 2 pellets. both in the lungs. my friend hit his with one pellet in the spine. my dad's on the other hand hit his through the neck and pushed a hole about the size of a dime. it doesnt really matter though since all these foxes pictured are being full-body mounted. the thick winter coats cover up any holes. when i go out purposefully for fox, i will be using 12 gauge 4 or 6 shot. seems to kill em alright.

Good looking foxes. How much did each weigh?

RE: Fox pictures

weigh??? never put them on a scale. my male was pretty big though. i will tell you that. i was 5' 11" at the time and i have a pic of me holding it at the hing knees at chest high and the nose is almost touching the ground. when i brought it to the taxidermist, there was only two different poses that mcKenzie makes that was big enough for mine. the other two (my fathers and nicks) were comparable in size. they were "good" sized foxes, according to the taxidermist. he said they were a little bigger than average. any one know how to age a fox???
