RE: 12 gauge shot
used #4 on foxes growing up a couple times. Worked great...not 0000 buckshot but #4 shot.

RE: 12 gauge shot
I would go with the #4 BS,they will reach out, where the #6 would not.
#4BS will kill out to say 50 to 75 yrds. #6 maybe 20yrds. I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry. |
RE: 12 gauge shot

RE: 12 gauge shot
for coyotes a minamum of magnum #4 shot.the bufferd turkey loads work good.

RE: 12 gauge shot
Minimum for me would be #2 birdshot. Generally though, I used 3" mag, #4 Buck shot with 41 pellets.
It only takes 1 pellet in the right spot to take out the 'yote. #4 Buck works better than any bird shot. Plus, when using the buck shot, you don't have such a "pellet riddled" pelt as with bird shot loads. JMHO. |

nothing smaller than 2's.2's BB 4buck all work good. I reload my own and will fill half way up with 4buck and the top half will be lead bb's or 2's
