Absolutely, kill them suckers and fry them up. Head shots with a 17 hmr or a 22. If not one of those a 410,20, or 12 gauge work wonders.

Love to hunt squirrels their tasty and using a rifle 22 or 17 can help improve marksmanship.

my dad cooks squirrels so they taste better than deer!
we had a squirell migration here in ny 8 years ago, i shot my limit every time i went out. sniping squirells is a good time with a 22. and they really do taste great!
now that its 10 below 0 here in NY, they are holed up tight-no action:(

Yes kill them and throw them right into the fryin pan squirrel meat is great! .22 or shotgun is all I've ever used ,neverheard of anyone usin the 17hmr.

I watched my cousin shoot a gray squirrel in the head with a .17 HMR last month--it took the back half clean off.

I only use my 22 marlin and take head shots.
Went yesterday and got 7.wife is gonna cook them up today.got 3 young ones for frying and 4 old ones for the pressure cooker with gravey.

My Mossberg 835 blows 'em out of the tree and into the fryin pan. I can shoot my squirrles up to 40 yards away sometimes more!:D They really do taste great:);)
