Updated!
Got out myself this week with my youngest. We saw four and two HUGE doe. But no shots. Tough to get the little guy to hold still and be sneaky.
He lasted three hours though. Last year about half an hour was all I could get. So I expect as the leaves start dropping here I'll be able to get some with him.

I killed a mature public land heavy pressure old gray squirrel today. Had one within 2 ft of my face earlier but never got a shot. Had two nice 2 year old bucks within 30 yards. Thinking I should come back with the bow also tomorrow morning.
