New Member Introduction

Hello all,
David here. I haven't been hunting in several years since i lost my hunting buddy, my older brother. I'm ready to get back to nature. We used to go deer hunting, but I've always had an interest in predator and varmint hunting. I currently live on Key Peninsula, Washington State. Maybe this venture will distract me from all the world troubles :D Hope this finds you well

Welcome to HNI! That peninsula looks pretty cool on Google's satellite view. Are you hunting there or elsewhere?

I didn't know people hunted much in western WA. Thought most of the hunting was in eastern WA.

There's plenty of hunting close to (and IN) the Olympic Mountains close by. The Key Peninsula where I live is kinda small and the only hunting is on private property, you have to get hooked up with the right people to get permissions. I'm hoping to hunt in the Olympics again, I am willing to drive to Eastern Washington if the proper opportunity comes around.

We have coyotes, deer, black bear and cougar in my neighborhood (cougar not very often). We do have Elk at higher elevations in the Olympics.
