I got one today should of had 2. I keep running into other squirrel hunters :/ The local public that has a decent pop of fox and grey gets pounded.

Killed 2 this morning. No acorns at all this year. Luciky there are some scattered hickory trees in the hill country areas. I only found one shagbark so far that produced this year. The other hickory trees are bitternut.

Got out today with my 4 year old daughter. Bout 15 minutes in she excitedly squeeled "daddy there's one!"

That was the end of that squirrel he disappeared into a hole and never came back out. We had a good time at least.
