Default First squirrel taken with an open sight handgun

Squirrel season opened this morning. This year, I challenged myself to take the scope off my MK II and practice with open sights. Despite the wind gusting pretty hard, I managed to call this gray squirrel in using the tried and true 50 cent squirrel call.

Nice one. I've taken them with my Ruger single six and open sighted.

Certainly makes it challenging.

TN, I've put quite a few rounds through a brothers older Ruger Mk ll and found that pistol to be quite accurate w/open sights. You're going to have a lot of fun and have meat in the pot with that gun.
