in the past 25+ yrs in my area of PA I have never seen one yet,
BUT I have seen a few foxes that had it
However when out west(ND/SD MT WY) I have seen quit a few coyotes there that had it!
PA< seems to be having issue
's with bears getting it too, but have yet to see that on my area bears, and hope I never do!
as thats a sad way for a bear to die, or honestly any other critter, not a fast death at all!

We knew this one was in the area because we had seen it on SandburRanch and amazing it was still alive, with sub-freezing temperatures in January, until a small hunting party put it out of its misery at DollyRanch close by.

Yeah, we see coyote's and red foxes with mange. Some years are worse then others. Saw a black bear a couple years ago that looked like he had mange. 2/3 of his fur was gone from the back working forward. He got a pass needless to say.
