Some folks got way shorter seasons than others also which kind of makes it lopsided too, but hey! it's just for fun.

Some of us are just too lazy to get out and get them to lol

Tough to find time with working and young kids at home.

It's all for fun though. In my young single days I could have given longhunter a run for his money

Season has been open for a week but this morning was my first chance to go as all my hunting spots have been flooded. Dont know what team I am on but here is my first kill of the season, only one I saw this morning. Not real proud of the shot, but it was from about 60 yards with a revolver.

Sure seems like it. Although hunting this time of year would produce allot of sweat for me.

i do enjoy the cool mornings that I typically hunt in Ohio and PA

It was really nice out this morning with a cool breeze, really surprised I didn't see more squirrels.

I call it my auction purchased $45.00 Stevens sniper .22. Was missing the firing pin but those can be purchased and fitted by old men like me. As everyone will know these were not designed for scope mounting but that can also be overcome with a little ingenuity.

It has the worst trigger ever but I don't see a - worst trigger ever - contest. lol - But it will take a red squirrel laying on his belly licking mineral from gravel @ 80 yards with a .22 short hollow. Don't be concerned about this old man damaging the value by re- finishing the wood and I did make a wooden butt plate that the factory didn't deem necessary.
