Default Kansas Rabbit and Squirrel Hunting

Hi all-

Just moved to Kansas City and am a novice hunter (went to Michigan for deer a few times). I'm looking to start hunting in the KC area on the Kansas side for rabbit and squirrel. Any places (ideally within an hour of the city)or tactics you recommend? I am a decent shot so I plan to use a .22, not my 870. I've looked at Hillsdale and Clinton reservoirs online but I have no idea how the hunting actually is there.

Feel free to PM me as well.

I know some good spots for squirrel at least. Rabbits are trickier to find

Along brushy fences, and RR track ditches are good spots for Rabbits.
The best Rabbit hunting I ever did was in Baldknob Ark.
When I live there in 1985
Do you have any Beagles to hunt with?
There is nothing better than listing to Beagles chasing Rabbits.

Good Luck
