Talking bummed

Small game season opened yesterday, a beautiful morning at that. 42F at 8:00 AM sun shining and very little wind.
I just wish I could have had a big cup of tea and a few eggs, bacon & toast, dressed in my squirrel camo, grabbed the Hornet and a half dozen shells and hit the woods. I can just see a fat and sassy red phase fox squirrel sitting on a stump near a red oak tree munching on an acorn. I can see the cross hairs settling on its ear and the puff as the bullet does it's job. Soon a gray phase joins it finally I can imagine the limit for the day. Oh imagined squirrel just doesn't taste like the real thing.

Hope every one else is having good luck.

Darn guy, hoping you have a speedy recovery and good results.

Laying around and recovering is a for sure bummer. Physical therapy, while not fun, can really improve the outcome.

Again, wishing you a speedy recovery.

I do PT 3 times a day at home, 3 days a week at a PT clinic with machines.

I will have matching scars when it is all done and over.

I think probably about mid Oct.

I'd probably be sitting in my front window with an air rifle.

I've got two hips and a knee that are giving me issues, so far so good. I can see what is likely coming though. My days of two mile walks when it is crunchy beard cold out are behind me. Got to know your limits.

What happened to you?
Get your Dr. to prescribe some muscle relaxers for you, at least 30 days worth.
You heal in a fraction of time when your muscles are relaxed, and not tense.
Take mucle relaxers at bedtime for it to work.
I know from experience about the healing, and muscle relaxers to heal faster.
Good Luck with healing, and hunting when you can get in the woods again.

Took a walk out to my raised bed garden Friday, and put a coat of wax on the deck lid of the Buick. I did something to my leg. Friday evening worst pain since operation and Saturday morning foot, ankle and part of my leg looked like a balloon all swollen up. Didn't get far from the ice machine all week end. Doctor said and this to shall pass.
