RE: fur fish and game good magazine?
i have never subscribed to it but have always enjoyed reading it when i bought one off the magazine rack.when i was handleing alot of fur years back i would go into the store every month and look in the back of that magazine in the fur market section.it was a good way to keep a constant watch on the market prices for fur.sounds like a cheapskates way of doing things but it work.

Seems like it has gotten alot better information wise since I used to subscribe to it 20 years ago. But it was about the only magazine I could find back then that dealt with trapping. Just picked one up a few months ago and was surprised with the advancement in traps (now really coming out with offset and soft catch traps).

i agree with y'all- it has stood the test of time and hasn't "sold-out" like other magazines in terms of tailoring their articles towards big pocket hunters. it certainly is a good magazine for "true" sportsmen and for that reason alone it deserves my support.
