I SEEN SOME OLD AMISH MEN USE BOWS ON RABBITS, AND THEY WERE KILLING SOME TOO! IT IS HARD TO BELIVE BUT IT IS TRUE. I GESS YOU CAN DO ANY THING IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT....WE HUNTED ALL DAY AND THEY HAD 6 AND I HAD 8. I USE A 870 12 GAUGE...

i could see using a recurve or long bow b/c of the simplicity and the fact you can shoot quickly. its easier to use a shot gun though

My first bow kill was a rabbit that was 42 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Hunting rabbits with a bow is a lot of fun.

I tried going rabbit hunting with a bow but failed to get anything still being new to the sport (havent gotten anything with the bow yet) but i am going to keep on trying no matter what. I got close several times though. I took a shot at a running jackrabbit but miscaluated the distance and hit the dirt behind it. The funny thing was when i hit the dirt, the arrow bounced up, flipped over and hit the ' jack with the nock part lol. Well at least i can say i actually hit something though lol. I plan to get more arrows when i get paid. 6 more days till that happens but i am ready to go out and try to de-virgin myself as a bowhunter [:-]

I had one im my sites when I was deer hunting last year. The little rascle ran off just before i squeezed off. I know I would have had him too.
