I went out really early today and shot 2. Had a great sit with temps in the upper 50s.

What choke u use for squirrels I tried once with my maverick 88 and it was to spread out and had lots of pellets in the body
Pellets hitting the body are pretty much inevitable when squirrel hunting with a shotgun. The trick is finding shot big enough to pass clean through the squirrel, but not big enough to break bone. #4 lead is what I've settled on. And of course always clean carefully. |

Usually the modified choke that came with it. Later in the season I'll switch to a .22, or occasionally a full choke on the Maverick.
