First Time Coyote Hunter

I'm getting ready to go coyote hunting for the first time, and I was wondering some of you could help a newbie out. I've wanted to hunt coyote for a couple years now both because it looks like a lot of fun and because I want to get the coyotes thinned out a little near the deer woods. I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on what to do after the kill. I really hate to just shoot an animal and leave it on the ground; that doesn't feel right to me. I also do no if I'm interested in having a freezer full of dead coyotes waiting for the fur buyer to come to town (I know for a fact my wife isn't interested in that.) So what other options do I have? I thought about trying to find another hunter or trapper who would like the pelts, but I really don't know anyone. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Some just are not worth doing any thing with except getting them off a open field. Any you leave will benefit other critters, like crows coons and possums that will clean them up.
We have a local buyer of our fur who buys it still on the critter. Look around for trappers in your area and they will probably know some on who buys local to you too.

A lot of the fur buyers prefer to skin the animal themselves. Ask around, and I am sure that you will find someone who can help you out. Get a pile of them, and if you need more I'm sure that some could be sent from here. They are like gophers here too, everywhere.
