IL must have an early opener for them. We have quite a while here in MI before it opens. When I was growing up in IN back in the 50s I believe it opened on 8/15.

Nice job Blazer! We have a squirrel contest going on. It's at the top of this small game forum page if you're interested. Just sign up with your username, where you hunt and then post pictures of your squirrels. Nice shooting.
