Have a pair of coyotes that come through every now and again and it looks like they are back this week. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to get out after them this weekend.

I'll be on top of a saw dust pile at the back of the property over looking a small clearing about 50 yards by 50 yards. I'll be bringing a Remington model 597 shooting CCI Velociter ammo 22lr 40gr. plated lead hollow points. All I have is a rabbit squealing mouth call and my own mouth to produce calls.

one thing ive heard to use is the tails off of squirls that you shoot. tie them to a stick and stab it in the ground and the coyotes will be all over it.
good luck, the more coyotes down the better:D

I wouldn't sit where a Your too exposed and easy to see....use some cover to stay hidden because they will be looking for what's making the Distress Sounds and probably circle down-wind and try to pick up Your scent!

The Squirrel Tail Decoy would be a good idea or what I have used and had success with is using a Feather on a thread hanging from a close overhead branch or a stick out in the open!

No coyotes showed. Had a nice red fox come investigate though.
