hunting coyote

Hey guys, I was interested in predator hunting just to spend more time in the field and although i havnt seen them iv been told there are alot of coyotes in south florida but my only worry is what to do with it once its harvested, i dont feel right eating dog, and the coat cant be that great cuz im in florida too much heat. Can any one shed any light on this for me, thanks!

I'm in SoCal - so I don't skin them out.

Never would consider eating coyotes, unless I was caught in a remote area with absolutely nothing else to eat.

I have no problem killing every one I see !!!

every one you kill helps your deer, turkey, and small game populations

so most people just shoot em and leave em?

Unless the pelts are prime ($$$) or you have someone who will take whole carcasses from you who is nearby.

Otherwise a lot of work for very little money in return IMO.
