Default RE: Calling coyotes

decoys can always give you an edge, add motion to that decoy and you put there attention on the decoy and not you.i presonaly like the decoy heart.as far as hand calls go,theres alot out there and they all will work.its just a matter of finding one or more that you like and can make sound good.pick up a long range distress call, and a mid or close range call.most distress hand calls imatate some kind of rabbit.you can also use a mouse squeeker or what they call a close in coaxer call, this usaualy imatates some kind of small rodent.the back or palm of your hand works as a squeeker to and dosn't cost anything.
