Squirrel whistle call?

Do these work any good? I picked one up today at Walmart I plan to try it out tomorrow morning. Just wondering if it was worth trying it.

I say leave it at the house.I never have luck with them.

When you try it.
Get a limb and beat the ground with it like a squirrel is getting killed while making the whisle sound for about 15 to 30 seconds and get quiet the squirrels will start barking at the sound.
If they don't,
Then waite about 10 to 15 min before trying again.
