Trapping with the weather question

Tuesday a bunch of flurries is supposed to come with temps dropping to the 20's for highs. This is the soonest I can make my new sets a ways up the road from our place because we have a b-ball game monday night. If I put out these new sets right before the snow and lower temps like 0-10 highs come, should that still produce or would they already be denned up?

Without passion.....Why bother?

RE: Trapping with the weather question

What kind of animal are you trapping? What kind of set are you useing? Coon will some times den up for a couple of days in bad weather, Fox will keep hunting. Recommend you wait till after the snow.

The problem with cold, snowy weather is your sets can get wet and freeze, I use salt to prevent this. All three will hunt in bad weather.
