Attachment 8720 Have you guys ever used this ammo? Does it work? I was thinking of using it on birds, rabbits, crows and such.

You can kill snakes and mice...I did shoot a family of baby rabbits with it at 6 feet. Killed them good.

I've shot gophers at 5 feet with it. They run down the nearest hole. Good for shooting mice in the house, and flies off a high ceiling, other than that, a waste of money.

I have used Bird Shot for 22. before.
They look a little different thought.
They have a blue tip and have a pitiful spread!
I dont know what these are like but i would use a shotgun instead.

Thats about a 10 ft range, type ammo.

I used to sit behind my house, and sit behind a big peace of cardboard, and shoot wolf rats, with the same ammo.
Works good at about 10 ft, farther than that, its no good.

JMHO

I really like them for rats and snakes and the good thing is that i used it inside the house and it didn't make much difference in the wall except that shot a lamp

Used to all the time

when I was a kid. we had that around the house for cats, mocking birds, stray dogs etc.

All to say.. I shouldint? Or should?

The reason it's only good out to 10 ft is because a .22 has a rifled barrel so when the bb's are coming out of the barrel they exit with a big diameter. An example would be attaching a soaked rag to a drill and and when it spins the water drops will fly in a big diameter, so no don't use them for crows or rabbits.
