Question best time to of day 2 hunt coyotes?

What is the best time of day-night to hunt coyotes and foxes?

right as the sun comes up and right as the sun comes down. also if you know a good spot and have a good strategy, night hunting can be great after dark.

generally anytime of the day could be prime for coyote hunting, but these times are what i've had the best of luck with. preferably i like about the first 2-3 hours of morning sunlight the best with a nice rabbit distress GOOD LUCK!

If you're well equiped, and it's legal in your area, night time/dark is usually the most active period for predators, how ever, they can be called any time during the day through out winter. Best time during day light, as was mentioned, generally early morning.

i forgot you're in utah. try to call them in snow if possible. much easher to see them and depending on how deep the snow is, much harder for them to get away from you if they take off running. you might be able to get a running shot on one. easier to track as well, but this is all hunter common sense so i'm sure you already know this lol
